CLINICAL
Combining top-level antibacterial testing with excellent biodegradable properties, these Uniwipe Bio Clinical wipes are the perfect tool for cross-contamination avoidance and infection prevention.
In a big step on our sustainability journey, we’ve developed a fabric that is made from 100% biodegradable plant-based fibres, which also retains extremely high effectiveness against bacteria and viruses.

ENERGY USAGE
In the last year we reduced the amount of essential energy consumed by our factory by 20%. We aim to improve this by a further 15% per year.
We constantly work to ensure our factory and operations are running at maximum efficiency to continually reduce our essential manufacturing energy requirements.
Our energy suppliers are committed to achieving net zero energy including using more renewable sources such as wind, solar and low carbon nuclear power. Over the years we have developed robust monitoring procedures across our site to continually measure and reduce our energy consumption.

Through our partnership with MoreTrees, we’re supporting projects that are planting trees in some of the most needed communities in Kenya, Madagascar and Haiti.
We aim to plant at least 1,200 trees – offsetting 360 tonnes of carbon – each year as part of these projects.

We’re constantly working to decrease the amount of landfill and incinerated waste per pack from our manufacturing and distribution facilities. Our goal is an annual waste reduction of 8% per pack.
We monitor the waste output of our factory to continually maintain and improve our performance.
Our production and packaging methods currently use up to 76% less plastic than commonly used tubs.

Vehicles
We’re working towards all new vehicles bought by the company being electric or hybrid in line with government targets, with vehicle charging points on site.
We’ve also created initiatives for our teams like bike stations.
We produce all our products in-house, giving us a unique advantage when it comes to managing our energy usage and waste management – we’re not reliant on other factories and production methods, we’re in control
